Data deletion

You can delete your DraftsReady data at any time. There are three ways to do it, and each of them removes everything. Two of them are immediate; removing the app inside Instagram destroys your access token at once and clears the rest within 30 days, for the reason explained below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account, including your Instagram account id, username, display name and profile picture address.
• Your access token.
• Every post, comment, draft and saved draft version we hold for you, and the cached thumbnail images on disk.
• Your style rules, facts and the examples of your own replies the app learned from.
• Your usage counts, the failure log and any feedback you sent us.
• Your sign-in sessions, so the app signs out everywhere.

It also stops DraftsReady from reading or replying to your Instagram account.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

   Open DraftsReady and sign in to the account you want to delete.

   Open your account settings.

   Choose Delete account and confirm.

Your account, its token, and all posts, comments and drafts are removed immediately.

Option 2: Remove the app inside Instagram

   In Instagram, open Settings and privacy → Apps and websites.

   Find DraftsReady and choose Remove.

   Instagram tells us at once. We destroy your access token immediately and stop reading your account; everything else — your posts, comments, drafts and style settings — is deleted 30 days later, unless you reconnect within the month. Removing the app this way does not produce a confirmation code. If you want it all gone now, use Option 1 or Option 3.

   If instead you asked Meta to delete your data, Meta sends us that request and we delete everything straight away. Only then is a confirmation code issued. Open this page with it — draftsready.com/data-deletion?code=YOUR-CODE — and it will tell you the status of your request.

Option 3: Email us

   Email hello@draftsready.com.

   Tell us the Instagram handle of the account you want deleted.

   We delete the account, its token, and all posts, comments and drafts, and confirm back to you.

Removing access from Instagram

You can withdraw DraftsReady's permission at any time from inside Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites. Meta tells us the moment you do, and we destroy your access token immediately and stop reading your account. Your posts, comments, drafts and style settings are then deleted within 30 days. The pause is deliberate: if you reconnect within the month, everything DraftsReady had learned about how you write is still there. To remove it all at once instead, use the Delete account button inside the app or write to us. When Meta sends us a data deletion request rather than a removal, we delete everything straight away and give you a confirmation code.

Early-access requests

If you signed up for early access and want that information removed, email hello@draftsready.com and ask us to delete it.

Important

Deletion is permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot recover the data afterwards. It happens immediately in every case except removing the app from inside Instagram, which destroys your access token immediately and clears the rest within 30 days.
