Data deletion

You can delete your DraftsReady data at any time. Removing DraftsReady in Facebook (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, or Apps and websites) disconnects the Instagram you connected with that Facebook login: its token is erased at once or as soon as Meta confirms whose login the connection uses, and the rest of its data is deleted after 30 days unless you reconnect. A Meta data-deletion request deletes that Instagram's data at once, or as soon as Meta confirms whose login the connection uses, and returns a confirmation code. Delete account in the app deletes everything at once. This applies to the Instagram accounts connected with that Facebook login, including ones connected on someone else's behalf. If you sign in to DraftsReady with that Facebook login, this covers every Instagram in your account, and your whole DraftsReady account if Facebook is your only way to sign in.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your DraftsReady account, including your email address, sign-in methods, pending sign-in codes and sessions.
• Your workspaces and every Instagram account they hold, including each account id, username, display name and profile picture address. This includes disconnected accounts still within their retention period.
• Your access tokens.
• Every post, comment, draft and saved draft version we hold for you, and the cached thumbnail images on disk.
• Your Direct conversations and messages, reply drafts, voice-message transcripts, attachment links and metadata, and muted-chat records.
• Your style rules, facts and the examples of your own replies the app learned from.
• The failure log and any feedback you sent us.

We also cancel each subscription when no connected Instagram remains in its workspace. Stripe may keep billing records it is required to retain. Encrypted backups of our database expire within 90 days. Nothing on Instagram itself is deleted.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

   Open DraftsReady and sign in. This deletes your whole DraftsReady account and every Instagram account it holds, not just the Instagram currently selected.

   Open Settings, or open the account menu.

   Choose Delete account. On the Delete your account? screen, choose Delete account to confirm.

We immediately remove your email address, sign-in methods, sessions, workspaces and all their Instagram accounts, tokens, posts, comments, drafts and saved versions, Direct conversations and messages, transcripts, attachment metadata, muted-chat records, style rules, facts, examples, feedback and cached thumbnails. Our AI spending records stay, with your account replaced by a one-way fingerprint that names neither you nor your Instagram, so daily spending limits keep counting. Each subscription is cancelled when no connected Instagram remains in its workspace. Stripe may retain billing records it must keep.

Disconnect next to an Instagram in Settings → Instagram accounts removes that one connection: its token is erased now, and its data is kept for 30 days in case you reconnect. If a different DraftsReady account connects it during that time, your data for it is deleted then. It keeps your DraftsReady sign-in, email and any other Instagram accounts. Delete account removes the whole DraftsReady account.

Option 2: Remove DraftsReady access in Facebook

   Open Facebook, then Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations.

   Find DraftsReady and choose Remove. If it is not listed there, check Facebook's Apps and websites page too.

   Meta withdraws DraftsReady's access at once. We erase the connected Instagram's token immediately or as soon as Meta confirms whose login the connection uses, and delete its remaining data after 30 days unless you reconnect.

Option 3: Email us

   Tell us the Instagram handle and the email address you use to sign in to DraftsReady.

   We delete your DraftsReady account and every Instagram account it holds across all your workspaces, including their tokens, posts, comments, Direct conversations and messages, drafts, transcripts, attachment metadata, muted-chat records, style settings, sign-in details and sessions. We reply to confirm.

Removing access from Facebook

Removing DraftsReady in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) disconnects the Instagram you connected with that Facebook login. We erase its token at once or as soon as Meta confirms whose login the connection uses, and delete the rest of its data after 30 days unless you reconnect. A Meta data-deletion request deletes the applicable Instagram data at once, or as soon as Meta confirms whose login the connection uses, and returns a confirmation code. Delete account in the app deletes everything at once.

This applies to the Instagram accounts connected with that Facebook login, including ones connected on someone else's behalf.

If you sign in to DraftsReady with that Facebook login, this covers every Instagram in your account, and your whole DraftsReady account if Facebook is your only way to sign in.

Deleting your DraftsReady account also deletes its AI chat request logs and feature requests.

Early-access requests

If you signed up for early access and want that information removed, email hello@draftsready.com and ask us to delete it.

When you delete your account, we ask Facebook to withdraw the access granted through your Facebook login, unless another connected Instagram still depends on that grant. If Facebook does not answer or we cannot yet confirm that no other Instagram uses it, we keep the Facebook user ID for up to 30 days while we retry. If another connected Instagram still depends on the grant, the ID stays on that connection for as long as it does. Server logs may also contain the ID and follow the log-retention period in our Privacy Policy.
